Sometimes you want all your links to be opened in the Google Chrome browser on your Android smartphone. Dolphin browser or some other browser on Android does not give us any more functions like finding specific things on the page, saving the page as PDF, the Autofill option, and many more. This is where your needs come to set Google Chrome as your default browser on your Android smartphone.

Here in this article, we will check out the step-by-step guide to set your Google Chrome browser as your default web browser on your smartphone.

Setting Google Chrome As Default Browser on Android

  • Go to “Settings”> “Apps.”
  • Select “Browser App” > Select “Chrome” from there

Now you will see your Google Chrome browser below the browser app option. Now your Google Chrome browser has been set as your default browser.

From now on, whatever link you open, will be opened in Google Chrome by default until you change this setting from there. You can also set another browser as your default browser by using these steps and selecting your favourite browser in step 2.

We have also created a video guide to help you further with this; check out the video below to learn more about how you can easily set Google Chrome as your default browser.
