How Do I Delete My Facebook Account – Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Open the Facebook app on your smartphone and tap on the “Menu” button on the top right side.
Step 2: Tap on the “Menu” button, then scroll down to the “Account Settings” option in the menu tab
Step 3: Select the “Account Settings” option, then tap on the “Security” option; you can see this on the “Setting” page
Step 4: In the “Security” Setting page, you can see the “Account Deactivate” option at the bottom of the page.
In Short: Go to “Menu” > “Account Setting” > “Security” > “Account Deactivate”
Step 5: Click on the “Account Deactivate” Option to Temporarily Shut Down your Facebook Account. Then the app will ask you to enter your current passcode.
Step 6: Enter your Passcode then again, the Facebook app will ask you to explain why you want to deactivate your Facebook account.
We recommend you choose the “ I don’t find Facebook useful” option, then scroll down to “Opt out of receiving future emails from Facebook,” and select it.
Step 7: After selecting reasons, Click on the “Deactivate” button.
Once you have followed those steps completed, you can permanently Deactivate your Facebook Account from your smartphone. Make sure you are not login to your account again. Otherwise, they will only temporarily delete your Facebook Account, and your account will be activated again.
