First, plug the charging case into the power source using a USB-A to USB-C cable for a factory reset. 

Make sure your Google Pixel case is seated properly and leave the charging case properly open. 

  • Then reset by pressing the pairing button on the back of the case for 30 seconds.
  • When the status light stops bouncing, you can release the pairing button. 

After releasing the pairing button, the status light will flash white and orange to indicate the reset process. When the reset is complete, the status light will start bouncing white again. 

Once the status light turns white, your pixel buds are reset and it is ready to pair with the device. 

How to troubleshoot your Google Pixel Buds?

If you’re having trouble with your Pixel Buds, please ensure your earbuds are charged, Bluetooth is on, and your phone is nearby. 

Restart the device you were trying to connect with your Pixel Buds. On your device, forget or delete your Pixel Buds and put them into pairing mode again. 

For Pixel and other Android 6.0 or newer phones, open the charging case and look for the fast pair notification on your phone. For other Bluetooth-enabled devices, press and hold the pairing button on the charging case until the status light pulses white. 

If your Pixel Buds are still not connected, you can try resetting your Pixel Buds and charging case. If your Pixel Buds still do not connect, you can try resetting your Pixel Buds and charging case. 

Plug your case into a power source with the USB C cable. Hold the pairing button for about 30 seconds. When the earbud status light stops blinking white, let go of the pairing button. 

The light should blink white and orange until the reset is complete and then start blinking white to indicate the earbuds have been reset and are ready to be paired.
