Good news for Samsung users. Samsung has launched Samsung Pay in various countries, now it has been also launched in India. Samsung will support peer-to-peer payment services in India from now. Samsung Electronics has announced its official mobile payment service, called Samsung Pay in India.

Samsung Pay has today announced the launch of its flagship mobile payments service, Samsung Pay, in India. Simple and Secure, Samsung Pay can be used to make purchases almost everywhere you can swipe or tap your debit or credit card to make payments.

What is Samsung pay?

Samsung Pay is a mobile payment service launched by Samsung in 14 countries including tier 1 countries including USA, China, Spain, and Australia, with India and Sweden. You just have to wave your Samsung device near the cash counter instead of swiping your credit card to pay to a merchant.

Samsung Pay in IndiaFor this, Samsung has partnered with several banks in India including HDFC, ICIC, SBI, Axis Bank and so many others. Samsung Pay users will be also able to link their Paytm Wallet to their service for instant payment.

How Samsung Pay Works

Users have to associate their credit card with their Samsung account to pay using Samsung Pay in India. After that, whenever the user wants to pay any merchant, they will need to select the cards option or account to pay from their Samsung device. After selecting cards, a user has to bring their smartphone to the POS(point of Sale) machine.

Once the merchant enters the amount of the transaction, the POS device will connect to the payment gateway and ask for Bank/ATM PIN. Entering the correct PIN will complete their transaction.

Will Samsung Pay be available on All Samsung Phones?

No, Samsung Pay will work on selected models as of Now. Company’s popular phones like Samsung Galaxy A7, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ & Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016 and 2017).
