Xiaomi, the Chinese manufacturer unveiled its two smartphones in India, one with a price tag of 13,999 INR (Xiaomi Mi3) and other with 6,999 INR (Xiaomi Redmi 1S). The two of these smartphones will be available exclusively on Flipkart from the last week of July. Since the launch of Xiaomi series around 3 years ago, the Chinese manufacturer achieved a great reputation with its Android devices and there is being no exception about Mi3.
We are here today with a battle between Redmi 1S Vs MI3 Smartphone – Which One to Buy. While buying a new phone, we usually look for its design and display along with processor and camera so let’s turn our heads over to it.
Design & Display
Xiaomi Mi3 features 5 inches IPS LCD touchscreen with a pixel density of 441ppi. It weighs about 145 grams. This smartphone looks really amazing and its build quality is simply superb. Xiaomi Mi3 seems similar to Apple in terms of its screen size and looks, though Apple still hasn’t really released an iPhone with 5-inches display. In comparison with other devices having plastic built-body, Mi3 stands out perfectly well and it looks really expensive, though it is not.
On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 1S features 4.7 inches IPS LCD display along with 312ppi pixel density. It weighs about 158 grams which is pretty much higher than Xiaomi Mi3 Mobile. Since the launch of Xiaomi series, there has been a rollout of quality Android devices by the company. It features a typical Xiaomi build which is pretty quite sturdy but not that bad and even the cut corners design looks inexpensive.
Mi3 Cell Phone is equipped with 13 megapixels rear camera which is pretty common in all the flagship devices these days. The quality of images is pretty good and is equipped with a snappy shutter. Its features are simple as it is not equipped with any special tricks.
On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 1S is equipped with 8 megapixels rear-camera which seems to be a treat within this low-range price. The image quality is good but in comparison with other devices it does not stand out. It whirls out good dynamic range without any shutter lags and also features back-illuminated sensor which works pretty impressively.
Processor and Quality
Xiaomi Mi3 is powered by the last year’s quad-core processor 800 Snapdragon which makes the device simply responsive with no lags. The UI of Mi3 is simple as well as stable and attractive with no complaints about any crashes. The call quality is crisp as well as clear with not any big issues along with adequate speaker volume. The battery life of this smartphone lasts for more than a day if moderately used.
On the other hand, Xioami Redmi 1S is powered by quad-core processor 400 Snapdragon which makes this device slow responsive as compared to Mi3. It features a simple UI with a good call quality and its inbuilt speaker volume is adequately perfect. In comparison with other devices, its performance is not up-to-the-mark but in this price range, it is acceptable.
Though the Xiaomi MI 3 Smartphone is not really easy to hold and handle with one hand but still getting the trouble is worth it because its devices are pretty affordable and in this price range what Xiaomi offers is exclusively remarkable. Both of these smartphones, Mi3 Phone, and Xiaomi Redmi 1S are quite good looking and feels similar to Chinese devices.
The plastic which is being used is of good quality. In fact, both of these smartphones whirls up good money value but it is also true thatthe company don’t really invest much in designing their devices. Oh! We are really confused? Are you too confused like us? Personally, I do recommend Xiaomi Mi3 but your views are most valuable to us. What do you think- Redmi 1S Vs MI3 Smartphone – Which One to Buy?
