One side, the OnePlus 6 users get latest Oxygen OS update, and on the other side, Asus has calmly introduced a new device under Zenfone series. Surprisingly, Asus has not made any official announcement regarding the launch of it. Apart from news and rumors, the latest Asus device is launched in Taiwan as Asus Zenfone Ares. This Asus device houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC inside it along with Adreno 530 GPU.

Zenfone Ares

As on the features, The Asus Zenfone Ares is wrapped by 3300 mAh battery which supports Quick charge 3.0 tech. Despite the other manufacturer offering Oreo OS, this Asus device runs on Android N OS. Asus has surprised everyone by boosting up the device with Android N OS. Also, the main feature is to focus on Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) features. For the same, the Main Camera features a mighty 23 MP resolution with PixelMaster 3.0 high-resolution lens. It also features AR – VR related facility. On the main view, it houses 8 MP resolution Front Facing Camera.

Zenfone Ares 1

For the comfort viewing, the Asus sports a big 5.7 inches AMOLED display with quite less aspect ratio 16:9. It features a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. To brighten the view of the display, the coating is also there which do not let your fingerprint stick on it. This Asus mobile is compatible with the Asus Zenfone AR. Unlike different manufacturers, Asus has decided to launch this device with only one variant of 8 GB RAM. The same device provides the spacious 128 GB internal memory along with an expanded memory of up to 2 TB. Also, the Asus Zenfone Ares offers all the connectivity features and sensor.

In Taiwan, the latest Asus Zenfone Ares will be available through a local e-commerce site. It is placed with a price tag of TWD 9,999 which translates as $333 and 22,800/- INR. But, the makers have not spoken a single word on when the device launches globally.
