According to the latest details revealed by the smartphone manufacturing giant, the Oppo Reno will come with a Sony IMX586 48MP camera sensor as the main camera which will be supported by an up to 10X optical zoom feature.

Oppo says that the smartphone will feature a super wide-angle lens and periscope telephoto triple-lens camera setup. The secondary camera in this sensor will be an 8MP super wide-angle with a 120-degree field of view while the third camera will be a 13MP periscope telephoto lens.

Oppo has also confirmed that the smartphone featuring the 10X optical zoom will also be packing a dual-frequency GPS (Global Positioning System) module which makes tracking highly accurate and noiseless. The dual-frequency GPS module is also capable of receiving satellite data seamlessly even when the device is surrounded by highly-interfering obstacles like buildings or when indoors. Lastly, this type of positioning system also works at a very high speed as it can receive multiple data packets in a single time slot.

It has also been confirmed that the Oppo Reno smartphone will be featuring an almost-bezel-less design with a screen-to-body ratio of a whopping 93.1 percent. The display panel itself is AMOLED. The Oppo Reno will obviously be running Android version 9 (Android Pie) out of the box. Even the low-tier version of the Oppor Reno with 6 GB of RAM will be able to handle the operating system with ease. The standard UX skin will be replaced by Oppo’s own ColorOS 6.0.
