If you are even a slightly into superhero movies, you will know that Marvel’s Avengers is one of the most notorious movie franchises of this decade and that arguably the most popular and anticipated movie, Marvel Avengers: End Game, is about to be released next week.
Well, according to the latest news, Oppo has partnered with Marvel Studios to promote the upcoming movie which is going to be watched by millions around the world. As a part of this collaboration, Oppo will be officially unveiling the Oppo F11 Pro Marvel Avengers Edition flagship smartphone on 24 April 2019. The movie’s official worldwide premiere is also set for the same date.
This is not the first time that Marvel has partnered with a smartphone manufacturing giant to promote their movies, especially in the Asian region. Before the last Avengers movie, Marvel collaborated with OnePlus which spawned the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Edition. For the End Game, Marvel has also reportedly made a deal with Redmi to promote the upcoming blockbuster.
The Oppo F11 Pro Marvel Avengers Edition will not feature any major change in the technical specifications of the flagship smartphone other than the internal storage capacity. The limited-edition smartphone’s design will obviously see a major change with a unique red and blue color theme and the Marvel Avengers logo on its back.
The Oppo F11 Pro Marvel Avengers Edition will pack 128 GB of internal storage instead of the 64 GB offered in the standard variant. The smartphone will feature the same 6 GB of RAM, though.
The flagship smartphone will feature a 6.5” Full HD+ Panoramic display packing a screen resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels which is equivalent to an aspect ratio of 19:9. The smartphone will feature a screen-to-body ratio of 90.9 percent. The notch has been removed in the limited-edition smartphone and it has been replaced by a slider which pops out of the top edge of the smartphone and carries the selfie camera.
As for the processor, the Oppo F11 Pro Marvel Avengers Edition will come with a MediaTek Helio P70, a very popular chipset for mid-range smartphones. The Helio p&0 features the Hyper Boost technology which essentially tunes the processor’s clock speed to optimize the smartphone’s performance.
The primary camera at the back side of the smartphone is a dual-camera setup with a 48MP sensor as the primary camera which is being supported by a 5MP secondary sensor. The camera on the limited-edition flagship smartphone features an Ultra Night Mode which improves image quality even in a low-light setting. Other cool AI-based features are also included in the camera of the device.
The front camera – the one housed on the popup slider – is a 16 MP sensor. The whole front camera setup with the elevating mechanism has been dubbed “Rising Camera” by Oppo. The front camera also features a bunch of cool AI-based goodies and is used for facial recognition. The back panel also sports a fingerprint sensor.
