ASUS Zenfone Max is the best budget smartphone from ASUS after their launch of Zenfone 2 Laser. Asus is giving out so many mid-range and entry-level smartphones starting from Zenfone 5, Zenfone 6 to Zenfone Zoom smartphone. Zenfone Max upgraded version’s price is also same as of their Zenfone 2 laser smartphone. Price for zenfone max upgraded version is Rs. 9,999 in India and that was launched on 23rd May 2016 in India. We have received a black colour variant of this smartphone with Model No. ASUS Z010D ( ZC550KL) in Black colour. However, zenfone Max is available in four different colour option, Black, orange, white and blue colour.
Asus Zenfone Max Camera
This Zenfone max smartphone comes with 13 Megapixel camera that is equipped with dual LED flash. The secondary camera has 5 megapixel with very good quality for taking selfie pictures and video calling. Video Resolution for primary camera & selfie camera is 1920 x 1080 pixel. You can even record slow-motion videos using this, but we can not able to record 4K videos using this smartphone.
We have tried capturing some images with their front and back side camera, but camera result is not as good as we expected. But according to it’s price range and battery capacity we can not expect it to be 20k to 25k price range smartphone’s camera quality. However, there are lots of camera options you can play with like Low light mode, Super resolution, night mode, Effect, selfie, GIF animation, panorama, miniature, time rewind, smart remove, all smiles, slow motions & time lapse.
Zenfone Max Design & Display
ASUS has not made major changes in this device as of previous zenfone Max smartphone. This smartphone is having 5.2mm thing body, which surrounding metal like edge make it durable. On the back side, look and feel of embossed leather make it fashionable and comfortable to hold.
On the back side, there is the primary camera with 13MP PixelMaster autofocus camera to capture high-quality photos. Above camera, there is a secondary mic, and below the camera, there is ASUS logo. Speaker is located at the bottom with zenfone branding.
As discussed, ASUS has not made any significant changes in this device. Look and feel are same as their previous zenfone max device.
