As we all are seeing that there are many Android Go based smartphones, have been launched this year, and they all are the low configuration based Android devices which all come with low hardware. The meaning of this concept is that to provide the low budget Android smartphone, that can perform quite well with having the low hardware configuration. As we have mentioned in the previous post(Moto E5 Play with Android Oreo), the Android Go is the lite version of this Android operating system and comes with an ability to run on low-end devices that combined with the low RAM, low Storage, etc.

ASUS’s First Android Go phone, the “ZenFone Live.”
Today, in this post, we will be talking about the Asus’s first Android Go based smartphone called “Zenfone Live” the lower-end hardware configuration based smartphone and powered by a Google’s Android Go operating system. The Asus has announced it’s first Android Go operating system based device today, and the price of this device will cheaper than other Asus smartphone. And according to the specifications, appears to be a decent product, so if you are planning to buy the low-budget Android smartphone, then the Asus Zenfone Live smartphone will be your first Android device at low pricing. There are many other brands such as Moto and Intex-has launched their Android Go edition smartphone in the Indian smartphone market.
And after that, the Asus is another high-end smartphone brand that has announced about their first Android Go Operating-System based smartphone. The all-new Asus Zenfone Live smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Mobile Soc processor along with the 1GB of RAM, which is quite enough to runs this device with Android Go operating system.
In terms of display, the Asus Zenfone Live smartphone has a large 5.5 inches 18:9 aspect ratio based IPS Display and has the resolution of 1280 x 720pixels, which also quite enough to display up to HD resolution graphics while multitasking. For the storage, the Asus Zenfone Live smartphone will maybe come with a massive 16GB onboard storage along with the expandable storage option, which allows the users to expand the device storage up to 2TB via MicroSD card.
In the camera department, the Asus Zenfone Live smartphone has an 8.0 megapixels primary rear autofocus camera along with the single LED flash which enables the user to shoot in low light conditions. The Rear camera of this smartphone will also come with a 0.3-second PDAF focusing system so that the user can capture the photos in a faster way. On the front, the device will also come with the 5.0 megapixels front facing camera, which can also be used to make the video call. And the device is a Dual-Sim supports Android Go v8.1 Oreo operating system based, and wrapped in a company’s own ZenUI.
In terms of battery, the Zenfone Live smartphone backed by a massive 3000mAh battery, which can offer up to 29 hours of talk time on the 3G network, and up to 42 hours of standby time on the 4G network. The Android Go based Zenfone Live smartphone can be picked from “bestbuy.com,” and the price of this smartphone is approx $109.99 (~7548.06 in India). And Asus has said that the device will be sold at select “Best Buy” stores soon.
