Nexus 6P has received Nougat 7.0 update, but it’s facing issues with several users. Nexus 6P users have reported battery failure after updating their devices last time in November. Now, after getting updated, some users have reported a new boot loop issue after updating their Nexus 6p device to Nougat 7.0.

Android Nougat Update

Some users have also reported this issue as soon as receiving their first update in November 2016. While replying to this issue, a Google employee has said that it’s not an Android software issue. This issue got affected a small number of users, and it has nothing to do with an update on Reddit.

Also, some Nexus 5X users have reported the same boot loop problem after updating their smartphones to the Android 7.0 Nougat update. The main issue for bootloop is your device shows the Google logo flashing on the screen and getting stuck on the startup screen. It keeps getting restarted with the Google logo flashing on the screen. Phones are not getting started after that screen.

Currently, there is no fix to resolve the Nexus 6P boot loop issue. Some affected users are trying re-flashing their devices and downgrading the device to an older version of Google, while some are wiping the cache partition on the device.
