Realme has reportedly developed the Realme 3 Pro to rival Redmi’s popular Note 7 Pro. Due to its expected placement in the smartphone market, the flagship smartphone by Realme is anticipated by a large portion of the industry. Realme has revealed earlier that the smartphone is set to hit the spotlights this month (April 2019), however, the exact date is still not known. A recent leak related to the smartphone reveals the alleged specification of the Realme Pro 3. If the leaked report is to be true, we can be sure that the Indian smartphone market will be welcoming a new mid-range hero this month.
The leak was first covered by a popular Indian mainstream media news outlet called Indiashopps. The original article claims that the information revealed in the leak came from reliable unnamed sources and market analysts. Then the article went on to discuss the key specifications which will allegedly be featured in the upcoming Realme Pro 3 flagship smartphone.
The first and most significant detail revealed by the leak is that the Realme Pro 3 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC (System on a Chip) which is no ordinary thing. Qualcomm’s mid-range mobile chipset Snapdragon 710 is a very popular microprocessor which can also be found under the hood of mainstream smartphones like the Mi 8 Special Edition and the Nokia 8.1.
If you follow technology and smartphone industry, you will also notice that the Redmi Note 7 Pro is already at a disadvantage here as the smartphone features the Snapdragon 675 – predecessor of the Snapdragon 710. The SD 710 is considerably better than the SD 675 in graphics processing and overall efficiency and battery consumption as the Snapdragon 710 is built on a smaller-scale fabrication technology.
The report also revealed that the Realme 3 Pro will be offered in three variants: one with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, one with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, and the third one with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. All three variants will support storage expansion option, according to the leak. It has also been mentioned that the smartphone will be offered in three color schemes which aren’t specified by the original article.
As for the cameras, the Realme 3 Pro will be using a Sony IMX 519 camera sensor as the main lens. The same primary camera sensor is used by the OnePlus 6T. The leak also revealed that the Realme 3 Pro will come with Oppo’s VOOC 3.0 (Voltage Open Loop Multi-step Constant-Current Charging) fast charging technology which is also seen in the all-new Oppo Reno. The charging technology is very different from SuperVOOC but is quite effective. The VOOC 3.0 is said to be 23% faster than its previous version.
