How To Use Offline GPS Map Navigation On Android

As we all know all android devices comes with built in Google Map, which can be used to search direction, GPS map navigation & to know the exact location where we are. The latest version of Google Maps lets user to download Google map offline, so that they can search the place even they don’t have internet data plan activated.

So if you want to download offline map on your android device, , make sure that you have installed latest version of Google map on your device.If you already have installed /updated it on your device, just open Google Map from your device.

After you open it, press menu button. The location of menu button is depending on your device and android version. It might be either on top or bottom.

After you click on menu button, you will see clear map, make available offline ,setting option & Help options there. Click on make available offline. You will see square box with map, pinch out zoom in or zoom out depending on the area you want to make available offline. You will see estimated file size at the bottom. Click on done button and it will shows you downloading menu.Once you have downloaded the offline map on your device, you can use it whenever you required.

Note: To download the offline map on your device, you must have active internet connection either from sim card or from WiFi connection.You can clear the downloaded map whenever you want from setting page> offline & cache > clear all maps titles & clear my  place cache.
